Horses have been a part of my whole life. When I was 9 years old I got my first pony, Mulle, and that’s when I realized that embroidering on my own was problematic.

Embroidering Mulle was a dangerous activity that I could not do without the help of an adult. I started looking for solutions and together with my mom we came up with different options. One idea was better than all the others.

My mom pushed me forward and signed me up for Almi’s idea competition – which I participated in and won!

I was asked by Almi if I wanted to lecture the following year and when I thought about being asked if I had started or not, I decided.

The idea of saying no was the driving force to start. Now MD Broddplugg has been around for 11 years, sold hundreds of thousands of broddpluggers and has several thousand satisfied and returning customers in several countries.
